Sorry, but I’ve owned 30/30 marked rifles as late as early 20,000 serial numbers. However, who knows when those barrels and extensions were actually made. I’m sure that Cameron may know the correct answer to these questions.

Sir,I’m not a mechanical expert. But I don’t believe that this would work. There’s a reason JMBrowning designed it the way it is. And even if he didn’t design that particular piece, some one at Remington did.

Sir , I know next to nothing about these conversions. But I do recognize that it’s been parkerized at some time in the past. It has no police markings that I can see. I personally, wouldn’t want to spend much money for this piece. That’s my analysis.
