What part of Remington did you work for? My uncle was a Duponter that worked with Remington when he was not working with plastics (the future apparently) and used to give my Dad the guns he got as job perks. Cute little oddities like this were his speciality.

My students did a research project on rigged bidding and found more auctions that do not fit normal models, with weapons that reappear for sale a week after they are sold. It is actually possible to write a program that detects and flags shill bidders and dealers that accept shill bids.

I was looking at it, but not at that price. Depending on the barrel springs I would go 100 for parts.

On the other side, you could strip the blue from the gun, weld up the excess of holes, and bakecoat the exposed metal some unusual color, and make something of the poor wrecked thing.
