Remington Model 8

100%= $1300 / 98%= $1100 / 95%= $900 / 90%= $750 / 80%= $650 / 70%= $500 / 60%= $400

 

 

+ 25% premium for .25 Rem cal.

+ 75% premium for C grades

 Add substantial premiums for higher grades D, E & F.

 

 

Remington Model 81

100%= $1200  / 98%= $1050 / 95%= $850 / 90%= $750 / 80%= $600 / 70%= $450 / 60%= $350

 

 

+ 10% premium for early production beavertail forearm models

+60% premium for stamped B & C grades

 Add substantial premiums for higher grades D, E & F.

 

•  The .32 Rem cal. was dropped after WWII and the .300 Savage was added in 1940.  A few specimens have been observed in .25 Rem cal., which was advertised only the first year as a production model and were made as original factory models until remaining .25 Rem barrels from model 8 inventory was depleted.  Therefore original factory production in 25 Rem cal. would only be found in the first few years of model production.
