• The .32 Rem cal. was dropped after WWII and the .300 Savage was added in 1940. A few specimens have been observed in .25 Rem cal., which was advertised only the first year as a production model and were made as original factory models until remaining .25 Rem barrels from model 8 inventory was depleted. Therefore original factory production in 25 Rem cal. would only be found in the first few years of model production.
